A fantastic effort – many, many congratulations to you all – now you’ve polished this off, fully recharged and rested – back to the day job ......!!  Much love, Mum & Jim xxx ps Marcus, hope you are well and feeling fit. 17/06/2008 07:31

Wow. Congratulations. hugs and kisses. Have so enjoyed your blog. You are all true stars. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Batty G-M p.s. We need to take you out for sups - and pick every cell of your worn out brains - for guidance for our trip next Easter. 16/06/2008 16:04

Well done gang, sounds like an awesome trip and looking forward to hearing about it when you get back. PC  16 June 2008 11:04

YAYYYYYY!!!!  Well done!  You did it!!! And there was never any doubt in our minds!!!!  so proud of you all!  Well done Mills for keeping us up to date on your travels!  Marcus, hope ur feeling lots better!!!  Raaja, well done mere bhai!!! and so, did you find me a bhabi????????????  ~I have a feeling that your nephew will decide in a few years that he will want to do the same!!!  Looking forward to catching up with you properly!!  Ritu, Sukh Saihaj and Simran xxxxxxxxxx  14/06/2008 12:03

Hey Rickshaw Riders….sounds like you’ve had a fantastic trip so far all round (very jealous), and not long to go til the finish line! Brilliant work on sleeping al fresco in tiger territory – very gallant and chivalrous of the gents to stay up ‘on guard’ all night and let the lady sleep…! No wonder Mills slept so well knowing that ‘Ranger Winnie’ was on look out!! Great work with the Hindi skills VSP! Olive looks brilliant – cracking design (am informed by a guy in our office that she originates from Kerala…) and Padhaal and Marcus look to have mastered the petrol filling (big guns VSP…). Looking forward to hearing all about it (hopefully over a beer in the Dhabi…!) and seeing your photos – am expecting a few winners of the tigers! Well done all, hope Marcus has a speedy recovery and have a safe final leg/return home, Guy x  12/06/2008 14:51

Come on Sicknote! get better soon. Loving the blog Mills. Vanny - keep limber, I need you to open from the pigfield end... Jim x (Sayer) 12/06/2008 14:27

Justin and Eve here - MOTHER OF GOD You're pretty much there!!!!!!!!!! rock on guys has sounded absolutely amazing all the way and now you're having a chilled time, full respect, you have done fantastically and well done on the 5K. Olive looks brilliant, you guys must be the talk of every street. Imagine it has been high five heaven, no, i know it will have been high five heaven. Tiger luck too, cant wait to see the pictures and film.... Vin have spoken to your Mum and she and whole family are all really well. Just got back from hols myself last night, cracking break and i imagine it was quite the opposite to your mission!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Took a boat out and had to be saved by the lifeboat people, quite a swell got up and i got excitable!!!! ooh and i know why you decided to give Vin a room of his own that one night - I can only imagine he needed some light hand relief after the bumpy ride. Good luck with the last 80 miles. Marcus - don't go showing Vin up on the cricket pitch now - he has his race to impress!!!!!!!!!!! Mills - full respect to you hun, putting up with those lads and their map reading. I know you will have looked after them. Chow for now, let us know when you have finished. Vin, love your work big man, any luck with the real reason you are out there?? wife???????????? Love you all, J & Evie xxxxx  p.s. not on your facebook thingy x 11/06/2008 20:10

Congratulations on ‘nearly’ reaching Pondicherry so fast – complete with the odd game of cricket and pool on the way- it sounds a real coordinated team. I bet the sea breeze, baths and beach feel good - but don’t you just hanker for a bit of dust, sweat, shaking in the tuc-tuc and crazy lorries, not to mention the occasional smelly dead cow? Love Jim & Mum 11/06/2008 18:08

WOW!!  You have done so well!  Really hope you enjoy your 3 nights stay in Mammallapuram (if I spelt that right!)  We are rooting for you!!!!  So proud of the 3 of you!!!!  Raaja, Sim is nearly sitting up on her own, thought you might want to know!  Ritu, Sukh, Saihaj and Simran  xxxx  10/06/2008 22:30

we are incredibly amazed with what you have done, the three of you....... a great blog Millie ...so funny!   Have a great stay in Mamallapuram... when you say it quick it sounds like a puja, hope you will have a few celebrations.   It seems Marcus has remembered his engine routines  .....and resting them ... from past barge experience?  Vinny - clearly a star, multi-tasking, keeping northern locals entertained and impressed!    Lol, Mum, Jim and furrypaws xxx  10/06/2008 09:01

Dear Team Sari we're late, This is your south coast chapter here.  Glad to hear that all is well. The big question we all want answering is, has Vanraaj found his bride yet? There is a lot of money riding on this and I for one need him to come back home alive and married!  I look forward to some good news!  George xx 09/06/2008 19:37

Hey there, you crazy pair! Glad to see you’re making headway. I think Marcus should wear the turban for the wedding. He looks dapper. Keep up the fabulous work; next time I think you should pedal round India… Leelee said he’ll sort out the blisters on your bottoms when you get home. Lots of love, Kate and Lee xxx  09/06/2008 12:55

Hey to the turbanated trio, Sorry but despite being bosom buddies for about 14 years, Vinny only managed to tell me about the trip at the airport prior to departure. It looks like fun and worthwhile. Hope you enjoy every step of the journey and I shall enjoy your blog every step of the way....  Godspeed.  Ehi xxx  09/06/2008 12:38

Hello my loves, sorry!  I have been very slow off the mark with this whole thing.  Have been so busy since you left and have only just found your fabulous blog. Haven't had chance to read it but have a rare and blissful night in this eve so am going to read your whole saga.  Hope you're managing to stay happy through what must be a bloody gruelling and terrifying not to mention very dirty time! I'm sure it's amazing in a way.  But think of how amazing it will be when you've finished!  You can dine out on the stories for the rest of your life and need never do a dangerous or adventurous thing ever again!!! Marcus - the greatest of respect (or perhaps you're just a bit touched in the head like our lovely bride!) for doing this as your first travelling experience.  Will it be your last is the question?!  In an entirely non morbid way.... Well - you nutty lot keep yourselves safe and happy. I don't want any delay to that special day where I get to disport myself in a peach blancmange. Big kisses and congrats so far...  xxxxx  (Becks) 09/06/2008 11:42

Olive - what a little beauty - v impressed with your artistic talent. can you please do that to my car?? sounds like a mechanic was a much higher priority than a doctor prior to this trip. Glad you're all in one piece and no stories of 'snapped' ankles unlike that other chap,...  good to hear you are all in one piece & marcus still looks a decent size after his fears of withering away... he just needs to backpackers wife beater now...  enjoy the last bit and hope olive holds out, love to all tamsin / titch xxx  08/06/2008 13:50

The tiger hunt sounds fantastic. Glad you're having time for such things as well as just ‘hitting the road’. Love from Jim & Mum  06/06/2008 06:09

Hello my intrepid travellers. Oh me oh my, what adventures are afoot. Am loving the blog soldier Millsie. What a trooper Olive is. I say it is all down to the expertise of the mechanically minded drivers - I've always said that Vinny was wasted in film. Our Mills, you will be delighted to hear that plans are coming along a treat for your Hen - and I promise there will no gaffa tape and sandpaper in sight. Not for fixing spark plugs anyway. Keep safe kiddos. Love y'all. Smackeroonies. Suse xxxx  05/06/2008 21:12

Hello Folks, Just wanted to say hello and check in to make sure that you were all ok?!!!!!  Not much to report from here – funnily enough!  The weather is still grey, I am still not with Robbie Williams and Dixie is still going bald!!!!  Hope that you are all having a great time, have just been reading your blog and it sounds as though so far so good!!!  Take good care of yourselves and keep the good work up!!!!  LOL  Team Dixon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  02/06/2008 14:34

You don’t know me but I think some or all of you know my sister, Georgina Tailyour. Anyway, just wanted to wish you the best of luck for your journey. I am most envious – having done weird and wonderful travels in places where bombs go off and people are not always friendly I know it can be a little nerve wracking but also huge amounts of fun and a great experience – I shall watch your progress from overcast Devon with great interest! Best wishes Helen 29/05/2008 11:05

Dear Intrepid Trio, Shall be keeping a close eye on your progress and pray that all goes according to plan!  Just keep Vinny away from a microphone and the locals will be safe. All our love Anna, Dick and the rest of the France's. 29 May 2008 11:27

Mills and co, Being the big spaz that I am, I called you today, then read your email. You've gone. Bugger. Promise you'll be VERY CAREFUL, don't drive at night, don't get eaten, mauled by a tiger or gang-fingered by eunuchs. These things can happen you know. Er....looking forward to following your adventures, and if you see Tom, give him a little tickle from me. Lovely fellow that he is. The sponsorship's in the post. Sorry. Do prayers count? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  Will Rankin 28/05/2008 21:22
